Many Jian Zhan pieces are handmade, individually glazed, kiln-fired and one of a kind.

Natural differences in glaze, colour, crystallisation, kiln marks, texture, dimensions, weight, symmetry and appearance are characteristics of ceramic production. They are not normally considered defects when they are consistent with the product description and photographs.

Colours may appear differently under different lighting conditions or on different screens. Customers may contact Wu De Tea before purchasing to request additional photographs, videos, measurements or product information.

Contemporary pieces and antiques

Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise and includes supporting information, Jian Zhan products offered by Wu De Tea are contemporary pieces and are not represented as antiques or Song-dynasty artefacts.

Information concerning an artist, workshop, firing method, certificate, provenance, period or material is based on the documentation and information reasonably available to Wu De Tea at the time of listing.

Customers considering a high-value collector purchase are encouraged to review the available documentation and request further information before purchasing.
