Shipping and Delivery Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
1. Delivery area
Wu De Tea currently provides personal delivery to valid addresses within mainland Singapore.
Delivery to restricted-access locations, offshore islands, military facilities, airports, ports, hotels, hospitals and other special locations may require prior arrangement or may not be available.
International delivery is not currently offered unless Wu De Tea agrees to it separately in writing before the order is placed.
2. Personal delivery service
Jian Zhan products are fragile and often one of a kind. To reduce the risk of damage and provide a more personal purchasing experience, orders are currently delivered personally by Wu De Tea.
We will contact the customer using the telephone number, WhatsApp number or email address supplied at checkout to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
Customers should ensure that their contact and delivery information is complete and accurate.
3. Processing and delivery timeframe
Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been confirmed.
Personal delivery is normally arranged within 2–7 business days after order confirmation, subject to:
-
Product availability;
-
The customer’s availability;
-
Delivery location;
-
Public holidays;
-
Weather and traffic conditions; and
-
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These timeframes are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless Wu De Tea expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
For urgent orders, please contact us before purchasing to confirm whether the requested delivery date can be accommodated.
4. Delivery charges
Any applicable delivery charge will be:
-
Displayed during checkout;
-
Included in the product price; or
-
Communicated and agreed before payment.
Additional charges may apply for:
-
Urgent or specially timed deliveries;
-
Restricted-access or unusual locations;
-
Redelivery after an unsuccessful arranged delivery;
-
Changes to the delivery location after dispatch; or
-
Delivery services agreed outside our normal arrangements.
No additional charge will be imposed without informing the customer.
5. Arranging delivery
After receiving an order, Wu De Tea may contact the customer to confirm:
-
Recipient’s name;
-
Delivery address;
-
Contact number;
-
Preferred delivery date and time;
-
Access instructions; and
-
Whether another person is authorised to receive the order.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and access instructions are accurate.
Please notify us promptly if any information needs to be changed. We cannot guarantee that changes can be accommodated after delivery arrangements have been finalised.
6. Receiving and inspecting an order
The customer or an authorised recipient should be available at the agreed location and time.
Where reasonably possible, the recipient should inspect the following during delivery:
-
The Jian Zhan piece;
-
The presentation box;
-
The certificate, where applicable;
-
Any included accessories; and
-
The number and identity of the items delivered.
If visible damage, a missing item or an incorrect item is discovered, please inform the Wu De Tea representative immediately.
Acceptance at delivery confirms that the order was received without visible damage or obvious missing items. It does not affect any rights concerning hidden defects, incorrectly supplied goods or products that do not conform to the order.
7. Authorised recipients
The customer may authorise another person to accept the delivery.
Delivery to the person present at the confirmed address will generally be treated as successful delivery where that person reasonably appears authorised to receive the order.
For collector or high-value pieces, Wu De Tea may require direct delivery to the purchaser or prior written confirmation identifying the authorised recipient.
8. Unsuccessful delivery
If no one is available at the agreed delivery time, Wu De Tea will attempt to contact the customer.
A new delivery appointment may be arranged. A reasonable redelivery charge may apply where:
-
The customer or authorised recipient was unavailable;
-
Access to the location was not possible;
-
The address supplied was incorrect or incomplete; or
-
The customer requested a last-minute change after delivery had commenced.
If Wu De Tea is unable to complete delivery due to our own error, no redelivery charge will apply.
9. Delivery delays
We will make reasonable efforts to deliver at the agreed time. However, delays may occur because of traffic, severe weather, vehicle problems, access restrictions, public emergencies or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible to provide an update or arrange another time.
Wu De Tea is not responsible for losses caused solely by a reasonable delivery delay outside our control, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Collector and high-value pieces
Additional delivery arrangements may apply to collector, masterwork or other high-value pieces.
These arrangements may include:
-
Direct confirmation with the purchaser;
-
A private viewing before acceptance;
-
Delivery by appointment only;
-
Inspection of the piece and documentation at handover;
-
Confirmation of the recipient’s authority; and
-
Written or electronic acknowledgement of receipt.
Any additional conditions or charges will be disclosed and agreed before delivery.
11. Packaging
Every item will be inspected and packed with reasonable care before delivery.
Customers should retain the original box, protective materials, certificate and accessories during the applicable return period.
Original packaging may be required for an approved return or exchange.
12. Damage or problems identified after delivery
If a defect or delivery-related problem could not reasonably have been identified during handover, please contact Wu De Tea within 48 hours of discovering it.
Please provide:
-
Your order number;
-
A description of the issue;
-
Clear photographs or a short video; and
-
Photographs of the box and packaging where relevant.
Damage caused after delivery by dropping, impact, misuse, improper cleaning, thermal shock or incorrect storage is not considered delivery damage.
Claims and remedies are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy and applicable Singapore law.
13. Transfer of responsibility
Responsibility for accidental loss or damage generally passes to the customer when the order is personally delivered to and accepted by the customer or authorised recipient.
This does not limit any rights relating to goods that were defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described at the time of delivery.
14. Changes and cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a delivery.
We will try to accommodate changes made before the delivery journey begins. Additional costs may apply if delivery has already commenced or if a new delivery appointment is required.
Order cancellations and returns are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
