Black Silver Snowflake JianZhan Tea Bowl | 朱信丛 朱哥建盏

This rounded Jianzhan tea bowl by 朱信丛 (Zhū Xìn Cóng) of 朱哥建盏 is densely covered in silver-grey crystalline spots across the entire body — clustered, overlapping, and irregular like a heavy snowfall settling on black earth. The effect is sometimes called 油滴鹦毛 or oil-drop, but here the spots are larger, softer-edged, and more numerous than a classic oil-drop — creating a texture closer to snow than rain.

Against the deep black ground, the silver-grey spots shimmer with a cool, quiet luminosity. In natural light they appear silver; in warm light they take on hints of pewter and slate. The rounded, closed form makes this bowl ideal for cupping in both hands — a meditative vessel for winter teas.
