A thousand blooms, each one born of fire.

The 百花 (Bǎi Huā) — Hundred Flowers — glaze is one of the most visually complex effects in the Jianzhan tradition. Viewed from above, the interior reveals a deep, dark oil-drop centre surrounded by a dense field of iridescent flower-like cells radiating outward to the rim — silver, purple, and bronze shifting with the light, each cell edged in fine dark lines like the veins of a petal. The effect is simultaneously organic and cosmic: a field of blooms, or a galaxy seen from above.

The exterior tells a different story: a warm amber-russet ground with the same dense 百花 crackle pattern cascading downward from the rim, darkening toward the unglazed foot ring. In warm light, the exterior glows like autumn leaves; in shade, it deepens to a rich, earthy brown.
