Kiln Treasure Hare's Fur Gongdao 公道杯 | 窑宝 朱信丛 朱哥建盏
From the same kiln that made the bowls — a fairness cup of rare character.
This exceptional 公道杯 (gongdao bēi) — the tea pitcher used to equalise and pour tea at the gongfu table — is hand-crafted by 朱信丛 (Zhū Xìn Cóng) of 朱哥建盏 using the same iron-rich Jianyang clay and wood-fired technique as his celebrated tea bowls.
The glaze is dramatic: a deep charcoal-black ground erupting in dense silver-white hare’s fur streaks that cascade irregularly across the surface, pooling and bleeding with extraordinary natural energy. The pour spout is clean and precise; the wide, open mouth and sturdy walls make it ideal for repeated daily use.
Labelled by the studio as 窑宝 — “Kiln Treasure” — a designation reserved for pieces fired with exceptional results. A natural companion to any 朱信丛 tea bowl.
Presented in a navy blue 朱信丛 gift box with gold foil plaque and braided cord, with 收藏證書 (Collector’s Certificate).
