This classic conical Jianzhan tea bowl by 朱信丛 (Zhū Xìn Cóng) of 朱哥建盏 is defined by one of the most dramatically striking glaze effects in the collection. A deep, lustrous black ground is broken by broad cascading streaks of amber, gold, and warm russet — pouring down the exterior walls like waterfalls of molten metal frozen mid-flow. Each streak is unique, shaped entirely by gravity and flame in the final moments of the wood firing.

The contrast between the deep black ground and the luminous amber cascades creates a visual tension that draws the eye continuously around the bowl. In natural light, the amber streaks shift between gold, copper, and deep orange depending on the angle.
