Black Gold Oil-Spot JianZhan Tea Bowl

Midnight earth, scattered with gold. This wide, rounded JianZhan bowl is glazed in a deep, glossy black, its surface scattered with large amber-gold oil-spot droplets — each one a burst of warm colour against the dark ground. The spots cluster and drift across the body like embers floating in still water. A warm terracotta foot grounds the piece in its earthen origins.
