This complete tea set comprises a pumpkin-form Jianzhan teapot and six matching cups, all finished in a deep, lustrous black mirror glaze — 乌金釉 (Wū Jīn Yòu), Black Gold glaze — one of the most prized and technically demanding effects in the Jianzhan tradition. The glaze is pure, dense, and light-absorbing on the exterior, with a warm golden edge where it thins at the rim. The interior of each cup catches the light differently — a dark pool that shifts between black and deep amber depending on the angle.

The teapot is modelled in a classic ribbed pumpkin form, with a braided cord securing the lid. The six cups are small and straight-sided, weighted perfectly for gongfu tea service. All seven pieces share the same glaze batch, fired together — a matched set in the truest sense.

Presented in a rosewood gift box with red silk lining and 收藏證書 (Collector's Certificate).
